Being neurodivergent – understanding yourself better.

Some people experience the world differently from what society’s norm expects. Maybe you have a diagnosis such as ADHD or autism. Maybe you suspect it. Or maybe you simply notice that the way you think, feel or perceive works differently.

Recognising yourself

Perhaps you know experiences like …

Many people come to me because they are exploring ADHD, autism, AuDHD or giftedness. Others only come across the term neurodivergence somewhere along their journey.

  • … the feeling of constantly being “too much” or “too intense”.
  • … a mind running at full speed, with thoughts leaping quickly from one to the next.
  • … finding it hard to make your needs understood in a neurotypical environment.
  • … intense interests or hyperfocus on topics that truly fascinate you.
  • … sensory overload or underload – perceiving stimuli more or less strongly than others do.
  • … exhaustion from masking and constantly pretending in order to belong.

Neurodivergence is not a defect. It is a different way of perceiving the world, processing information and shaping relationships.

Together we explore how your own system works – and how your life can be shaped so that it fits you.
My approach

Nothing here needs fixing.

We don’t look at your differences as a problem to be solved. Instead, it’s about understanding how your own system works – and how you can shape your life so that it fits you.

I am neurodivergent myself (AuDHD). Here you are welcome to think, speak and feel in whatever way comes naturally to you.

One of the methods I work with is “A Map of Me – Getting to Know My Own Brain”: a curious journey of discovery through seven landscapes of your inner world. I created it primarily for neurodivergent people – and it is open to everyone.

What grows

Through this work, many people gain …

  1. 01a deeper understanding of their own patterns and needs.
  2. 02more clarity about how they want to shape their energy, focus and social interaction.
  3. 03new ways of communicating boundaries.
  4. 04more self-trust in a world that is often shaped by neurotypical norms.

Unfolding Minds – thinking, feeling and being differently, together

Unfolding Minds is a community by and for neurodivergent people, which I co-founded with Afi Sika. Here we create space for exchange, connection and mutual understanding – without any expectation to fit into a particular mould.
